I've seen the movie I Know What You Did Last Summer but haven't read the book. Again, I wonder how I missed reading her books or the books of R.L. I think adolescence is a time when people are becoming more aware of moral ambiguity -- people do terrible things and "villains" aren't entirely unworthy of empathy. It deals with subject matter that many would turn away from. Instant classic. You also sold me on Killing Mr. Griffin. I'm very into older books and that book sounds like something i would love.
