Where I am in the writing process: I'm one of those people who is constantly rewriting as I write, so that's basically what I have done this week, rewritten (mostly in my head) the first two chapters of my WIP, while writing a completely unusable third chapter.
My current problem(s): Time is still my biggest issue, but I feel rather good about the changes I'm going to be making to my WIP, even if my latest venture was total hogwash.
Sarah's ???: [She's on vacation this week so no question from her!]
My ???: Critique groups? I'm waiting for the Sunday edition of my local newspaper to come out so I can read up on all the different groups that meet in my area, but if a critique group is not found through that, how do I go about finding/starting one?
Thanks for
visiting!
Hey Shalena! Have you tried Meetup? I joined a writers group that meets in my area. Also, search the internet for writers groups in your area. I am sure you will find something. Good luck with writing this week!
ReplyDeleteYou can also try looking through the library to see if they have any groups in town. That's how I found all my writing groups - one started at my library and the moderator had a whole list of different groups that he mailed out every month.
ReplyDeleteMy post is finally up, and I posted a new question too! :)
I love the picture! Do you mind if I steal it sometime?
